I pull out my favorite mug by Richard of Glenfiddich Farm Pottery - Japanese salt glazed, and mixed together 2 loose leaf teas. Lemon Grass and Licorice Root taste really good together. I find I can't drink too much of the licorice root tho- and it does come with warnings on the bag!!!
The view below, is at the beginning of my 1,000 foot driveway- the original Hebron Mennonite Church, dated mid 1800's. There is a new brick church right next to it- hopefully, this old one won't be torn down. The fog hangs midway down the mountain, the nighttime temps have dropped close to freezing or below. Can't believe it is already November.......................
Please feel free to join us every Tuesday for tea- and visit Kimmie and Patty for a list of the other tea lovers!

...into which mug will my tea go???????
I've collected so many pottery mugs over the past year, that it's hard to use them all!! Collecting them has become an addiction- but there is nothing like drinking your tea out of a mug someone made by hand.
I guess today I will use Richard's Japanese salt fired mug and teapot, altho I love these "new" thrift store mugs made in 2001 by a local potter, Mike Yoder! Decisions, decisions......
If only life's daily decisions were as easy as choosing what mug to use...................
While drinking my Stash Lemon Blossom caffeine free tea on the porch, my shivers from the chilly morning were warmed by the patch of sun at the edge of the deck. The hummingbirds buzzed at top speed around my head - wondering why I was invading "their" breakfast nook this early in the morning!
Be sure to drop in on the other "members" of our tea party-their links can be found at Kimmie's place!
Tea on Tuesday

I am actually ON TIME for tea today!!!!
I decided to skip the thrift shop volunteer today, because my son is visiting thru tomorrow. I would rather spend the time with him, even tho he is still asleep at the moment!!
I grabbed a quick cup of tea for the "photo shoot"!!! As soon as I post this, I have to run out and check to see if there are any raspberries left. They are usually a tiny crop, only a couple of pints. I did discover a new group of plants, and I'll see what's left. The blackberries are next to pop out - and those are very prolific. Last year I had pounds of those - I am hoping for the same this season - so I can sell some at the market!
Anyway, this teacup/pot combo is from Pier 1 - but I got a pair of them at the thrift shop for a dollar or so- one for me, one for my daughter. The cute little tray is another thrift shop find ( a set of 3), and the tiny bowl with my blueberry breakfast is one of Richard Busch's Glenfiddich pieces. I love his pottery!!!
The tea is Arizona Green Tea with pomegranate and acai.
The sun is peaking out again, so I am off to pick berries before it rains!!
Be sure to visit, Patty, Kimmie and Nancy for tea, and join us next week, won't you????
