After having a VERY successful first workshop with Pat Sloan in August, the quilting ball is rolling!

Starting again next year, we will have another quilter/teacher workshop  in the spring (teacher TBA), and, hopefully, have Pat return in the fall to teach another workshop, and  schedule a Saturday Sew In every now and then!!

The Facebook page is way to keep in touch, keep people up to date, and to post interesting links, quilts we are working on, and news from the quilting world!

A Little Feedback.......

After several years of writing blogs, I am continually trying to expand my readership..........any advice?

I link each post to Networked Blogs, twitter, Facebook, Google,Linkedin and where ever else I can think of. I email friends who have asked to be alerted of new posts ( I don't browbeat for readership!!LOL)

 I visit and comment on other people's blogs. All very time consuming (and very enjoyable)- and all this is beyond just writing each blog post and putting up all the photos. Sometimes the networking takes up more time than the actual blog post!!!

The readership stats are not where I would like them to be, nor are the comments. I love my followers and am very thankful the number has risen to to where it is. Thank you all for following me - and I am trying to follow you all back, and visit as often as I can.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!! Writing and putting it out there, is all about getting our thoughts out there, and the feedback, whether it be in the numbers graph, or actual comments. We writers are a needy bunch, and "need" to know we are loved (or  READ!!!) LOL

I strive to be, at the very least, somewhat entertaining; from time to time educational and/or mildly amusing; and maybe, even sometimes, reach the heights of enlightening some days!!!LOL

                                                    So, whaddya think....??????????

Losing Followers..................

.............Uh,oh- awoke this morning to find that I have lost another follower!!! I managed to get to a grand total of 79 wonderful followers, thru bribery, giveaways, and referrals!!! :>)
2 weeks ago - I noticed I lost one, and this morning I lost another!! Oh, no!!! And the horrible thing is, I don't know WHO I lost!!! I just know "they" are gone........

Obviously, I have been slacking, and am not keeping up with interesting enough posts.

I must be spreading myself too thin, with eBay, Etsy, Facebook, Myspace, Wordpress, emails, Blogger,life in general......................ya' think??

I promise to do better, if you promise not to leave me??????

Another Facebook Page!

Yikes, I REALLY must be nuts!! But,I'm gonna give it a try. I set up a FB page for my business, Ooglebloops.
It will connect folks to this blog and keep everyone updated on what's new in the Etsy shoppe.

Twitter, Twitter, Tweet, Tweet...........

I have just spent the last hour on Twitter!!!! I now officially have way too many cyber sticks in the fire!!!

Spurred on by Oprah, I decided to re-activate my Twitter account, which has been dormant for quite a while. I was so excited to be 'conversing' with Oprah and Ashton, and Martha, until a kind fellow twitterer, let me know that Oprah, Ashton, and Martha, don't know I exist, if they are not 'following' me! Which, of course, they are not!!!!
Martha Stewart does not know, (or care, apparently) that she and I are both up at the crack of early, twittering away, at the same time, in our own little worlds!!!! If she cared, she would be following ME - and we would be tweeting back and forth!!! :>)

If you thought blogging was addictive, Twitter is worse!!!

But, the upside is, you can network with some really fascinating people. Or at least, be inundated with their "tweets" every day!

I have found quite a few interesting artists on Twitter, which then leads me to their blogs, which then finds me, HOURS later, STILL on the computer!!!

Well, my cup of tea is now cold, I have checked (and responded to) my email, checked my two blogs, written on one, downloaded (or uploaded- which is it?) my pictures from my camera, checked and updated Facebook, Twittered for way too long, checked my bank account, looked in on my Etsy store,, and apparently forgot to check Myspace!!!!!Wheeew......!

Time to step away from the computer and get on with the real world activities!!!
